AbstractThis clinical study conducted in Lomé (Togo) analyzes the psychological impact of rape on young children and the emotional repercussions on their families. The sample includes four children with an average age of 34.75 months. Data were collected through clinical interviews, projective tests (family drawing and tree drawing), and direct clinical observation. The results of our research reveal marked traumatic symptoms: fear, social withdrawal, sleep disturbances, and influence syndrome. Families exhibit feelings of guilt, shame, and anger. Based on the integrative theory of Marshall and Barbaree, the study emphasizes the urgent need for tailored psychological support and reinforced protective measures for child victims in Togo.
